35 Ft HDMI Digital Video Cable 22awg CL-2 Rated for In-Wall, 1080p

Features: 22awg Wire – HDMI cables are generally sold in 5 different wire gauges (30, 28, 26, 24, and 22). The smaller the wire gauge number, the thicker the wire that is used inside the cable. The wire gauge is the most important factor to consider when buying an HDMI cable that is 25 feet or longer. This cable uses 22awg wire, so it is very good for running cables of 25, 35, and 50 feet reliably. Most equipment should be able to attain a 1080p signal with 25, 35, and 50 foot cables without the need for an equalizer/extender. (With 75 and 100 foot cables, an equalizer may be needed on the end of the cable run to achieve 1080p resolution.) The only caution is that the thicker wire may make the cable a bit less flexible for installation, and care should be taken to ensure that the heavier cable is not putting strain on the port of the equipment being used. See our 8 inch Port Saver cable (part # HH-28-008F) to help alleviate this potential problem. CL-2 Rated – This cable is CL-2 fire-rated. CL-2 is a National Electrical code rating. CL-2 cables have a voltage rating of up to 150 volts, and are more resistant to the spread of fire than non-CL-2 cables. In order to pass electrical inspection in many states, you must have a CL-2 rated cable. The fumes given off by non-CL-2 rated cables in a fire can be extremely toxic and deadly, so we strongly recommend CL-2 cables whenever possible. Disclaimer: State and local building codes may vary.
