Channel Master’s model 4221HD antenna can receive digital and analog over-the-air TV signals in the UHF band only. The 4221HD is optimized for distant “near-fringe” reception of HDTV. The 4221HD receives digital and analog UHF TV signals (channels 14-69); range is 45 miles; 4-bay bowtie dipole design; 24-1/2″W x 5-1/2″D x 33″H; 12-1/2″ turning radius (if used with an antenna rotor)

poor quality and construction
I would not recommend the Channel Master 4221 to anyone. The antenna was incompletely assembled and the reflector was mangled to the extent that it does not form a decent…

Great little antenna for DTV reception
I spent a little time researching antennas for over-the-air reception, as my old antenna was a VHF that wasn’t going to work with the new digital signals.

Works as Advertised

Be Ready for Digital

Good attic antenna
I installed this antenna in my attic and was able to receive all digital channels from 2-66 (around 40, I think) in the SF Bay area.

Canceled basic cable after installing this antenna
I purchased this antenna and put it in the attic without even really mounting it and have been able to tune 40 digital channels with excellent signal strength.
