Took a chance on this, and was pleasantly surprised

Great antenna…for UHF channels
This is a great antenna for picking up channels broadcasting in the UHF range. I wanted an unobtrusive, low-profile antenna for my living room and this fit the bill.

amplifier failed after 2 weeks

Do you really need an amplified antenna?
I purchased the amplified RCA ant 1450 at Walmart. I returned it, and ordered the passive RCA ANT 1500 from Amazon. I did test the ANT 1450 before returning it.
