Shortwave radios brought the world together long before the Internet, and now the Sangean ANT-60 antenna helps maximize your shortwave experience. Ideally suited for today’s compact shortwave receiver and fully portable inside its convenient, compact carrying case, the ANT-60 extends to a full 23 feet and enhances the performance and reception of your shortwave radio beyond that of a typical built-in telescoping antenna. An adapter plug is provided for those receivers lacking a standard 1/8-inch (3.5mm) miniplug.
ANT-60 Portable ShortWave Antenna extends to full 23 feet. It is easily rewound into its case, and terminated in 1/8″ (3.5mm) Mini-Plug. Adapter Plug allows clipping to Telescoping Antenna on radio.

Nice, but isn’t strong enough

Good enough
Since my home owners association doens’t allow out side antennas I tried this ANT-60. It gave me about 3db more gain. The fade is not eliminated in weak signals but reduced.

Works great with my Grundig
I’m not sure why this didn’t work on the earlier reviewer’s Grundig. I attached it to the antenna on my Grundig pocket radio and had great results, really strengthened the signal…

Grundig Radios Beware!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I purchased this for my Grundig shortwave radio, the antenna did virtually nothing on improving my (shortwave) reception. I’m assuming this product is for Sangean radios only.
