Sony MDR-EX51LP Fontopia In-The-Ear Headphones, White

Most noise-reducing headphones feature large over-the-head or behind-the-neck headbands, making them a bit bulky to use while traveling or working out. Not so the Sony MDR-EX51LP Fontopia headphones, whose ultra-light in-the-ear design sounds great while minimizing distracting ambient noise. The closed-type construction makes the headphones a perfect fit for airline, train, or bus travel, or while dancing or skating to your own tune. The phones owe their audio performance to the extra-small 9 mm drivers and neodymium magnets fitted inside each earpiece. The drivers and magnets combine to generate high-intensity sound, with a deeper-than-expected bass response (as low as 6 Hz) and refreshingly crisp mid- and high-range tones. Listeners will also welcome the two sizes of ear buds that come with the headphones, ensuring that users find the right match for their individual ear shapes. The soft silicone buds are also responsible for much of the noise reduction. Additional features include an oxygen-free copper cord that reduces noise and improves signal transfer, a gold-plated mini-plug that resists corrosion, a stylish neck chain cord, and a streamlined carrying case that easily slips into a shirt pocket. great for runners
I have been using them for over a year now. I use them with my iPod Nano four or finve times a week. I like that they come in two lengths – short and long.

    Good initially, poor longevity
I bought this product at the beginning of February. Sound quality is fine for an earbud, especially at this price point.

    Keep going back
My dog keeps chewing these up, I have gone through half a dozen pairs in 3 years and have tried different brands. I keep going back to this pair.

    Not Bad,But Not Bright
These can be found pretty cheap, so you may be very happy with them if you don’t like a strong high range.

    Great for small ears!
These are the best headphones I have ever used. I have small ears, and these work very well, and stay where they are supposed to.

    Good experience, but low durability.
I’ve bought about eight pairs of these, including three that I ordered today. They last about 3-4 months on average.

    Serious Problems
I ordered two sets of these, both of which broke within a couple of weeks of using them. One side shorted out and quit working. The first set was the left side.

    Serves its purpose
The first pair I bought was very obviously defective: one side was noticeably louder than the other (and it wasn’t my ears as I switched them and had other people try them out)…
