Terk Low-Profile Indoor Antenna (TV5)

Terk Technology TV-5 Low Profile Indoor Antenna – You might think an indoor TV antenna is as outdated and useless as the 8-track tape, but think about it for a minute. If you have satellite TV you know the joys of having your service knocked out during a storm, cable TV sometimes goes out of whack as well, & some people simply do not want $50 a month in television channels. All are great reasons to pick up an indoor antenna like the Terk TV-5. This specific antenna has a great low profile design which stands just 4 3/4″ high and fits inside most television cabinets. In addition to that, the built-in video selector is a great convenience – letting you switch between broadcast TV & a video source (ie: DVD, VCR or video game).

    Disappointing
This product, in my opinion, didn’t live up to the hype. I needed it after the digital change over for a small tv in my kitchen. A. the product was too large, B.

does a better job than rabbit ears
i tried several differant indoor antenna designs, before finding this one. i found it to be the least space-hungry, and most reliable for reception.

Great little antenna for urban areas
The Terk TV5 amplified antenna works very well in urban and suburban areas, when you’re closer than 30-40 miles to your target TV towers.

Okay, but not exactly low profile
This antenna works okay, but not that much better than an unamplified pair of $9 rabbit ears I’ve used.

It does not pull in the over the air HDTV signals as good as my Terk HDTVa. But, it is $30 cheaper than the HDTVa.

    Buy this antenna!
By far the best antenna on the market. Pulls in a lot of stations. Adjustment couldn’t be easier. Looks good on top of modern TVs too!

    Good for fringe areas
If you live 40+ miles from the tv stations (like me) and you can’t practically put an antenna on the roof (like me) then this is a good buy.
